How would you feel if your past crush finally sends
you a request on Facebook after years of no talk? How will you react to the
heat-up conversation and the entangled feelings it will bring with it? This is
exactly what Kayla Purtizo is going through. Shane, her long-lost friend with whom
she had one night in heaven years back, sends her a friend request on
Facebook. They then start talking and she is now falling deeper for him. But
will this time be the same? Will he fall for her too?
Kayla is a
mother of two children and a new divorcee. The book states her love life from
being a child to being a grown-up mother of two. I like how the characters have
changed over the years. Shane himself is the father of two kids and in the same
condition as Kayla. Both of them were very intimate but Kayla never
understood why they stopped talking back then. When she finally did,
she was still in that situation and those things were happening again but this
time she could stalk his life through Facebook. Will Kayla find her ‘THE ONE’.
The Scorpio Moon by Kayla Purtizo is a riveting
journey of love, friendship, coincidence, and compassion. The author takes us
deep into the lives of two people who were separated in the past and now have a
reunion. The book makes the reader question- Does everything happen for a
reason? Is everything destined?
The story was written from the first point perspective of
Kayla Purtizo. It touches on some subjects like being connected with God, female
supremacy, and astrological signs. A brief account of such delicate subjects makes
this book even more interesting. I really liked the book. The plot was amazing
and the story was well set up. It was an interesting story to read. For everyone who loves women's romance novels, this book is for you.
